Waltham, MA – Hobbs Brook Management LLC, a commercial property management and development firm specializing in leasing, construction and development of Class A office space, announced that it has selected JLL as the exclusive broker for 225 Wyman St., a 500,000+ square foot new office and lab development on their Waltham campus.
When complete, the new building will be the largest contiguous Class A office building constructed along the Route 128 “technology belt” in Massachusetts. Hobbs Brooks Management plans to begin construction in Q2 2019 with the building ready for interior fit-out by the end of 2020.
The new five-story building is being designed by Gensler to meet LEED Silver certification and be lab capable to satisfy both laboratory/research and development and traditional office needs.
The site’s landscape plan, designed by OJB Landscape Architecture, will include both paved and permeable walkways, seating areas and walking trails in the beautifully landscaped Western Courtyard as well as an arrival courtyard at the entrance to the building. The project will also include a new parking garage within the Hobbs Brook Office Park to accommodate parking needs for this complex.
Hobbs Brook Management will oversee the construction and manage the facility once complete.
